These endorphins minimise the discomfort of exercise, block the feeling of pain and are even associated with a feeling of euphoria. Less stress = healthier life: As mentioned earlier, the brain recognises exercise as a form of stress. And when you start subjecting your body and brain to this stress every day, they become better at handling all other forms of pressure as well. Tired body = better sleep: Facing trouble falling asleep?Take up exercising! When you sleep, your body temperature drops and this drop in temperature helps you sleep. When you exercise five to six hours before bedtime, your body temp drops lower than normal. This makes for better sleep, and a brighter ‘you’ the next day.

Reduced depression = fuller life: Studies have proven than people who exercise are less depressed than inactive people. People who have stopped exercising after maintaining a fit lifestyle for a while are also at risk. Exercise not only treats depression but also prevents relapse.

Fitter you = increased confidence: Most people fighting body issues are riddled with self-esteem issues. As you exercise and see your body transform, it does wonders for your self-worth.
